Paddle Canada Courses​

Element Outdoor Education offers a variety of Paddle Canada Courses for certification and as clinics.

The Paddle Canada National Sea Kayak Program

​

The Sea Kayak program includes nationally recognized certifications in five skill levels, five instructor levels, and four instructor-trainer levels. Certifications are earned during course participation and through a process of mentorship. Paddlers are also taught the Leave No Trace principles to encourage active environmental awareness and protection.

The skill levels stream begins with Basic Kayak Skills and evolves to the development of the skills and knowledge necessary for safe sea kayak touring

Basic Sea Kayaking Skills

Sea Kayaking Level 1 Skills

Date: June 6th-8th, 2024 

Location: Corner Brook

Cost: $265.00

Sea Kayaking Level 2 Skills

July 31st-August 3rd, 2025

Location: Bonne Bay, Humber River and Bay of Islands

Cost: $525.00
